Anybody who knows me understands that I'm not the greatest sports fan. In fact, I quietly pretend to myself that eating contests and swim suit competitions are sports just to make myself believe it's all right to break a sweat while I practice cooking.
Ironically on Saturday I have been given a part in a commercial where I am to portray the stereotype German soccer fan for the World Cup 2006.
Good actor that I am, I've been doing my research:
- I found out that those funny guys in the black are not a team of their own
- You don't get a parking ticket for parking on the white line
- Tripping the guy with the ball and then jumping onto him with the full force of your body wheight to make sure the bastard stays down is not a good idea in soccer
And finally I did some reseach on my costume... Here are my two finalists: What do you think?

Well. To prevent world from getting blinded: PLEASE CHOOSE THE SECOND ONE!!!
Have a look into my blog - I just wrote about English football supporters...
I say go with the Soccer Bra, but only if your boobs look as nice as hers.
Haha, didn't think I could strike so much fear into the hearts and minds of people with such a simple suggestion.
The shoot went well, my costume was not half as spectacular as my personal favourites, but it was a lot of fun.
However, I had a near death experience: Filming at the Queens Park Rangers Stadium I was asked to run into the crowd when the players were approaching and shout German soccer propaganda.
People looked at me like I was insane and nearly granted my death wish but then saw the cameras and I was saved...
First of all: Good to know you'll stay here, baby. :-)
Plus: You know, I kept running through Mannheim, shouting out things like "Waldhof Mannheim sucks". I'm still alive. But maybe it's just my boobs that saved me.
So take care when you approach soccer supporters without me around. They sometimes are worse than wild animals. It could be dangerous and I still need you. :-)
Hugs, Nicole
